Science in action: Looking back at a successful Science Festival in Frankfurt!
With beautiful weather and a lively crowd, the festival offered the perfect setting for conversations about science. Many visitors stopped by to learn more about our research and take part in our hands-on activities.
Our walk-through heart was a highlight
The walk-through heart model attracted visitors of all ages to the CPI booth. They explored the giant heart, asked questions and discovered our interactive materials. We were also pleased to welcome State Secretary Christoph Degen for an exchange at our stand.
Presentation on cardiovascular health
Prof. Dr. David M. Leistner and Dr. Ailís Ceara Haney presented their research on sex-specific differences in cardiovascular disease under the title “Frauenherzen schlagen anders”. The presentation was followed by an engaging discussion with the audience.
