ILH Symposim 2025 – Multiple awards for CPI students

The Institute of Lung Health (ILH) Symposium 2025 celebrated outstanding research, with several CPI students receiving recognition for their exceptional poster presentations.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Hanieh Anari Beigdiloo, Margarida Barroso, Giovanni Maroli, Golnaz Hesami and Rajender Nandigama for their well-deserved awards.

• Hanieh Anari Beigdiloo won the 1st prize in the Area Acute Inflammation and Repair for her presentation of “Epigenetic landscape and cellular mechanisms of macrophage associated loss of Y chromosome in lung diseases“.

• Margarida Barroso was awarded with the 2nd prize in the Area Microenvironmental Niche and Carcinogenesis, Platform Technologies & Across Area Topics.

• Giovanni Maroli and Golnaz Hesami both won the 3rd prize in the Area Chronic Remodeling and Regeneration.

• Rajender Nandigama was also honored with 3rd prize in the Area Microenvironmental Niche and Carcinogenesis, Platform Technologies & Across Area Topics.
