Therefore\, the ability to express yourself concisely and clearly\, using strong ar-guments\, is of utmost importance.\nThis interactive seminar with real-life scenarios\, public speaking exercises\, argumentation examples and debates will help participants successfully engage in various interactions with other scientists and non-scientists. Your Q&A sessions will never be the same again. You will disarm other people’s arguments against you now that you can look behind their facade. And last but not least\, you will win on paper (e.g. research- and grant- proposals)! SUMMARY:Adobe Illustrator Essentials
DESCRIPTION:The course is for beginner and will give an insight into the most important functions of Illustrator to create scientific illustrations: Program application areas\, desktop\, profile\, drawing areas\, navigation\, views and auxiliary functions such as auxiliary lines\, preferences and shortcuts as well as information and exercises on object creation\, editing\, and organization. There will be exercises on object selection\, size and location. Draw Bézier paths intuitively with buntstift\, drawing and curve drawing tools. Construct shapes with the shape creation tool and pathfinder. Simple transformations\, image import\, text and color functions\, gradients\, dashes and arrows. File structuring through layers\, groups and drawing areas. Avoid pitfalls and numerous practical insider tips and tricks.
